Wild Roots is located in the heart of Hazelwood beside the picturesque Lough Gill, in Sligo which is part of the iconic route of The Wild Atlantic Way.
The Wild Atlantic Way allows you to experience the raw beauty of Ireland’s western coastline. The Wild Atlantic Way is known for its magnificent mountainous views and these are visible from the Wild Roots festival.
Wild Roots encourages all its festival goers to keep the festival grounds as clean and as green as possible so everyone can enjoy the scenic and glorious views the festival has to offer with The Wild Atlantic Way a key part of this.
Wild Roots tries to use The Wild Atlantic Way in the best way possible by having our adventure activities of supping and kayaking on Lough Gill. People are able to enjoy the tranquil environment and the breathtaking surrounding area which The Wild Atlantic Way has to offer.
