Especially for our festival partyers, we are running an exclusive over 18 Party Boat across Lough Gill. Be prepared to enjoy the boat’s exclusive DJ with some ice-cold beverages along the way.
To reach your party boat be ready for a 20-minute walk.
Each adult needs one ticket. Strictly over 18.
A separate consent form must be completed.
Wild Roots & Lough Allen Adventures
You must have a ticket for the Wild Roots Festival to book an adventure activity at the festival. By buying this adventure ticket, you agree to abide by any instructions below.
What to bring to the activity:
As with all water activities there is a chance of getting wet so we would recommend you bring the following:
- Spare clothes
- Shoes you don’t mind getting wet
- Synthetic clothing is best for kayaking ie: leggings, Fleece football Jersey etc.
- Suncream
- A bottle of water
- Coffee and Tea will be provided free of charge at the activity site to warm you up after the activity.
Additional Information
Customers will leave the festival site to participate in the water based activity. Customers will walk along public walkways to arrive at the water activities. The walk to the activities will take 15 minutes through the beautiful woodland at Hazelwood.
All bookings for activities at Wild Roots Festival are non-refundable. If a customer wishes to cancel their booking they will not be refunded.
Non-attendance at the activity will be considered a cancellation by the customer and the price of the activity will not be refunded.
We reserve the right to cancel our sessions at any time without notice. In the event of a cancellation due to adverse weather or any other reason, customers will be offered a credit with Lough Allen Adventure (for Kayak and Stand Up Paddle) or The Rose of Innishfree Tourboat (for Boat Tours) which they can use within the next 12 months.
To run our sessions we require minimum numbers to make it feasible. Therefore we have a cut off period of 1 day prior to the event in which your session may be cancelled.
All sessions are subject to change, including date/ time / length of session. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule sessions at any time without prior notice. In some rare circumstances and to ensure your safety, we may cancel a session due to circumstances beyond our control such as unsafe weather conditions.
Zero Alcohol & Drugs policy!
Wild Roots have a zero tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol for any persons accessing water activities.
Anybody arriving to do a water based activity must have zero drugs or alcohol consumed. Wild Roots Festival and Lough Allen Adventures reserve the right to refuse admission to any persons if they suspect they are intoxicated with alcohol and/or drugs.
Customers will be vetted by Wild Roots security and again by Lough Allen adventures instructors to ensure they are sober and safe to be on the water. Should any persons be considered unsafe to partake in the water activities they will be refused entry to the activities and no refund will be issued.
